Robotics
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through participation in the First Lego League Robotics Competition. Children from Years K-6 participate weekly in facilitated sessions, and teams are able to compete at regional level later in the year.

Culture and Respect
Each week students join Dhinewan Mentoringfor immersive experiences in learning about our First Australian culture. Yadaki is taught to boys in year 4-6 each forntnight. Every year Jilliby Public School along with its Small School partners celebrate NAIDOC Day together.

Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world. Excursions chosen support the Key Learning Areas with an emphasis on developing and exposing students to a wide range of first-hand experiences.
